Priorities

Stronger schools start with clear priorities.

Lexington One is growing, and our schools have to be ready for what comes next. I'm Jack Lundeen, and I'm running for Lexington One School Board. As a father of three Lexington One students, I want our district planning for growth before overcrowding becomes a crisis, giving teachers the support they need in the classroom, expanding opportunities for students across the district, and making sure taxpayers know where their money is going. Lexington County is changing quickly. Our decisions about schools, facilities, programs, and spending need to look beyond the next school year. They need to prepare Lexington One for the next generation.

The platform

Focused on the work that moves our schools forward.

Student success

Keep students at the center of every decision, with high expectations, meaningful opportunity, and the support each learner needs to thrive.

Support educators and staff

Listen to the people closest to students, strengthen the conditions that help them succeed, and value the professionals who make learning possible.

Responsible leadership

Make careful decisions with public resources, communicate clearly, and keep the community informed about the work of the board.

Families and community

Build trust through two-way communication and partnerships that connect schools, families, local organizations, and the wider Lexington One community.

The commitment

A board that listens, learns, and leads.

School board service should be focused on what matters most: helping every student access a strong education and a clear path forward.

Jack will bring a steady, community-minded approach to the board—asking thoughtful questions, listening closely, and staying accountable to the people Lexington One serves.
